Week 3 and 4

Hello and thank you if you've popped by to see how we are doing out here ! We are still settling in and adjusting, meeting great people.

We had all the interns and others around for lunch a week ago..that was great . The three on the sofa are Sarah Victoria, and Mike and Lorraine..all from Northern Ireland. none of them are interns. They are "ministry volunteers" as they have more life experinence etc..we are also officially called that too, othe same reason.

We've been riding our bikes allot, getting fitter.(slowly!)Its been slightly colder and the leaves are dropping
off, but still beautiful.

Went to a caffe run by Christians called Revel Caffe..its great..they have board games there and good coffee.
Glen beat Christa at chess, we had a re-match and the same happened.!Next time.........?

Continuing to enjoy the amazing low priced food in Canada, learning how to shop and cook the Canadian way.

In the photo on the left we are at "Wendy's" burger place..better quality(and more expensive!) than MacDonalds

Other good stuff ..we have been doing intercession and worship Tuesday-Friday..cool times in the glory :)

We visited an amazing house in the country where they help a "pot luck" cell group.
We met a lovely couple there who run a crisis counselling ministry and we loved chatting to them.

We  heard  an amazing testimony from a girl who works for IRIS ministries in Mozambique who is back in Stratford on furlough...awesome.

Met some great new people at a interchuch (informal) prayer meeting
Enjoying exploring more of Stratford..it really is pretty..its like being in a movie at times! bit surreal.

There is a kids club we go to -"Kids connect" on Thursday night . Its has been going well, the kids are amazing. The boys really gravitate towards Glen .
