hello winter

Hi blog enthusiasts! How amazed we were to look at our blog stats and see that we have been viewed by someone in Russia and someone in Japan  who? why? Weird business having it all out there for anyone to see!!
We have now been here for over  year and have had many changes. We've moved house...alot of the interns we began here with have moved to Toronto as well as the pastors who were here when we came. We have finished our official year and graduated but are staying on and have recently received an extension fro another two years!
We have dropped some of the activities and ministries we were involved with before choosing to concentrate on those that had life on them for us. As is often the case God's agenda is different to anything we could have imagined as the reasons for us being here.It has been a year of steep learning curves in more ways than one. However despite any misgivings we are trusting we are here for a good reason and so..here we stay!! We have had some health problems .... but God is good.
The Fall colours were beautiful again (yes, I say Fall now..as far as Im concerned Canada has Fall and UK has Autumn!) Another wonderful Thanksgiving and now we are waiting for the snow..the temperature keeps going up and down..threatening snow but then getting warm again..so the weather is teasing us but we know it will come in the end. Hopefully not for6 months this time.. but a bit of the old white stuff will be very pretty. Alot of people have their lights up already to avoid putting them up in the snow..so we go for nice walks around the neighbourhood to see the "ho-ho houses" as a friend of mine used to call them. They look so pretty twinkling away and most of them are pretty tasteful.
