We saw an amazing sight the other day. We were going on a ministry trip(our first one here :) and we went through Mennonite country. The Mennonites are like the Amish except not quite as strict. we passed several people wearing bonnets and long dresses driving buggys with horses..some of these guys dont have electricity..even in -30 degree !!!
They are excellent cooks and have a market each Saturday morning which we have yet to go to. We often see them shopping in our local supermarket. It really is amazing. I guess sometimes in the UK we saw strict Plymouth Brethern out shopping in head scarfs etc but this is a whole other level!!
